In the collection of articles I only want to display the actual articles and not the ads. I still want the ads to show in the collection when viewed but having them listed like this has no benefit and looks untidy.

Hi Ross Arnold,
As you might aware, this feature has been implemented for while now. I'd like to formally give an update here that this is now available for all publishers. 
You can find the setting on the individual article. If you chose to hide an article or ad page, it will be hidden from the TOC yet can still be accessed when readers browse the issue. 
This would make your TOC looks tidier and highlights the content more.

We're considering including this in our roadmap at some point. We'll keep you informed if we decide to implement this. Until then, keep the ideas coming!
